Terms & conditions

  • The details of the participant must be for the person attending the course and the client is responsible for providing the correct details Failure to provide the correct information may result in the participant not being able to take part in the training and no responsibility lies with the organiser of the course

  • By submitting the booking, the client agrees to the dates and times they have booked and will attend on said dates and times.

  • In the case of invoicing an organisation, once a booking form has been completed the client is obligated to transfer the invoice to their administrator and secure prompt payment.

  • Payment terms are set out on the invoice, ie within 30 days. Payments after this may incur a fine.

  • Payment can be made electronically via the Bookwhen, by bank transfer or by cheque. Cheques should be made out to: Sign with Serga (Serga Collett)

  • In extreme circumstances the course may have to be cancelled and Sign with Serga reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course at short notice. If this is the case, the client will be offered an alternative course and if this is not suitable a full refund (- cost of participant manual if already sent to client)

  • In the event of the client wishing to cancel a booking:

  • Online courses require 15 days notice for a full refund and in person courses are liable to a 30 day notice period for a full refund. (the participant manual needs to be returned if cancelling a course or the cost £21 of the manual will be subtracted from the refund total) Partial refunds are given if cancellation is 15 – 30 days before course commences.  There is no refund if cancelled within 14 days of commencement of the course.

  • No refunds will be given due to mechanical failure on your part, please ensure your internet has a stable connection and your camera, mic and speakers are tested and working PRIOR to training.

  • If ill or absent due to circumstances out of the client’s control, Sign with Serga will try to offer the client alternative dates for the same course.  However, if these are not accepted by the client, no refund can be given. The alternative date will have to be taken within a year of original course booking.

  • If you wish to transfer your booking to someone else, you must email the name, email address and mobile number of the person taking the place to Sign with Serga as soon as you know.

  • It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that the new participant has also received any manuals and resources that were sent to the original participant in time for the course start.

Data Protection & Privacy Policy

  • Any data you provide is used to book your place on a course, provide evidence of your Makaton training and process your payment.  I will also use this data to inform you of any future Makaton courses relevant to you.

  • This data will not be shared with anyone or used for any other purpose.

  • The data I hold about you: Name, address, email address and mobile phone number (applicable to both personal and business bookings)

  • Sign with Serga is registered with the ICO and complies with all data protection regulations

  • If at any point you believe the personal information I hold on you is incorrect, you want me to correct or delete that information, or you no longer want me to hold that information or contact you, please let me know in writing at signwithserga@gmail.com or contact@signwithserga.com
